Description

A classic Turkey Club sandwich featuring crispy bacon, tender turkey breast, fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, and light mayo on toasted whole grain bread. Perfect for a quick, satisfying lunch or light dinner.

Bacon

  • 2 slices center cut bacon (cut in half)

Bread and Spread

  • 2 slices whole grain bread (Dave’s Killer Bread thin sliced Good Seed)
  • 1 tablespoon light mayo

Vegetables and Meat

  • 2 slices iceberg lettuce
  • 3 ounces turkey breast (sliced thin, Boar’s Head)
  • 2 slices ripe tomato


Instructions

  1. Cook Bacon: Cook the bacon slices until crisp over medium heat, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.
  2. Toast Bread and Spread Mayo: Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown. Spread the light mayo evenly on one side of each slice.
  3. Assemble Sandwich: On one slice of bread, layer one slice of iceberg lettuce, then add the sliced turkey breast evenly on top. Follow with the tomato slices, then the crisp bacon halves, and finish with the remaining iceberg lettuce.
  4. Close and Serve: Top the sandwich with the other slice of bread, mayo side down. Slice diagonally in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use Boar’s Head deli turkey sliced thin for the best flavor and texture, preferably from the deli counter for freshness.
  • Center cut bacon is preferred for a leaner option.
  • To keep the sandwich crispy, assemble just before serving.
