For the Almond Whipped Cream:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract

- 4 store-bought croissants
- 1/2 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the Whipped Cream: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the heavy cream, white sugar, and almond extract. Attach the whisk attachment and beat on medium speed until soft peaks start to form. Continue to beat until medium peaks form, being careful not to overbeat the cream.
- Slice the Croissants: Using a serrated knife, gently cut the croissants horizontally in half, creating a top and bottom half for each.
- Layer the Strawberries: Arrange a layer of sliced strawberries on the bottom half of each croissant. Add a second layer of strawberry slices for extra flavor and juiciness.
- Add the Whipped Cream: Top the strawberries on each croissant with about 1/4 of the almond whipped cream, spreading it evenly.
