Description

These Smash Burger Tacos are a delightful fusion of juicy ground beef, gooey cheese, and classic taco toppings, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Perfect for a quick and tasty meal!

For the Tacos:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 flour tortillas (Fajita-style size)
  • 1 tsp Seasoning Salt or Taco Seasoning
  • 4 slices American cheese

For Toppings:

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
  • toasted sesame seeds

For 321 Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Divide the Beef: Split the ground beef into 4 portions and press each onto a tortilla, spreading to the edges. Season with seasoning salt or taco seasoning.
  2. Prepare Toppings: Shred half of the lettuce, dice the onion and pickles, and set aside in separate bowls.
  3. Make 321 Sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Cook the Tacos: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the tortilla with meat side down for 4 minutes. Flip, top with cheese, cover, and let sit for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  5. Assemble Tacos: Top the cooked tortillas with lettuce, onion, pickles, sauce, and sesame seeds. Fold and enjoy taco-style!
