For the Pineapple Jalapeno Margaritas
- 6 chunks fresh Pineapple 1″ cubes
- 2–3 slices fresh Jalapeno
- tiny pinch Sea Salt
- 4 oz. Tequila silver or reposado
- 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 2 oz. fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Triple Sec
- 1 tsp. Agave Syrup
For the Rim
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp. freshly cracked Black Pepper
Instructions
- Muddle the fresh pineapple chunks, jalapeno slices, and a tiny pinch of sea salt in a cocktail shaker until the pineapple is broken down (about 20-30 seconds).
- Pour in tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
- Stir the rim ingredients together in a shallow bowl or on a small plate. Run a pineapple wedge (or lime wedge) over the rims of two glasses, and dip them into the rim mix. Shake off any excess and fill the glasses with ice.
- Strain the margarita between the glasses, and garnish with a fresh pineapple chunk and pineapple leaf.
