Description

Learn how to make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich using an air fryer. This quick and easy recipe results in a crispy exterior and gooey, melted cheese interior.


Ingredients

Bread:

  • 4 slices white, whole wheat, or gluten-free bread

Spread:

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Cheese:

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare Bread: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. Add butter on top of the mayonnaise on the outer side.
  2. Assemble Sandwiches: Place mozzarella and cheddar cheese on the non-mayonnaise sides of two bread slices. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayo/butter side out.
  3. Preheat Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 200°C/400°F.
  4. Cook: Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket, secure with toothpicks, and air fry for 8-9 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Serve: Once golden and crispy, remove, slice, and enjoy!
