Bread:
- 4 slices white, whole wheat, or gluten-free bread
Spread:
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon butter
Cheese:
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Bread: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. Add butter on top of the mayonnaise on the outer side.
- Assemble Sandwiches: Place mozzarella and cheddar cheese on the non-mayonnaise sides of two bread slices. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayo/butter side out.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 200°C/400°F.
- Cook: Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket, secure with toothpicks, and air fry for 8-9 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve: Once golden and crispy, remove, slice, and enjoy!
