Description

Refreshing and fruity, this Peach Strawberry Lemonade is a perfect summer drink that combines the sweetness of peaches and strawberries with a zing of fresh lemon juice. It’s easy to make and great for serving at gatherings or simply enjoying on a hot day.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Peach Strawberry Puree:

  • 4 ripe peaches – chopped into large chunks
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries – stems removed and halved
  • 1 cup water

Homemade Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Peach Strawberry Lemonade:

  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 68 cups cold water
  • Fresh chopped strawberries – to garnish
  • Fresh sliced peaches – to garnish
  • Lemon wedges – to garnish
  • Mint – to garnish

Instructions

  1. For the Peach Strawberry Puree: Add the peaches, strawberries, and water to the bowl of a large blender or food processor and process until pureed. Pour the puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl. Discard any bits remaining in the strainer and set bowl aside.
  2. For the Homemade Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar and water. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for about 3 minutes until syrupy. Set aside to cool.
  3. For the Lemonade: Fill a large pitcher with ice. Add lemon juice, peach and strawberry puree, and simple syrup. Mix well, then add water (6-8 cups) and stir. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve in glasses with ice and garnishes. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I pureed my fruits in my Vitamix. This blender blends so well that I didn’t have much leftover seeds or skin left behind in the strainer. If this is you, that’s ok, you didn’t do anything wrong.
