  • 1 1/4 c heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c finely crushed mint or candy canes
  • 12 Oreos, coarsely crushed

Optional Topping:

  • 6 Oreos, crushed
  • extra crushed candy cane

Instructions

  1. For the Oreo Crust: Process the Oreos in a food processor until fine. Mix with melted butter and sugar, press firmly into a pan, and freeze.
  2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add sour cream, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Whip cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in whipped cream, peppermints, and crushed Oreos. Spread mixture on chilled crust and chill for 8 hours.
  3. Once Set: Add remaining crushed Oreos and candy canes. Slice and serve chilled. Store in the refrigerator.
