Description

These Jalapeno Popper Egg Rolls are a delightful fusion of spicy jalapenos, creamy cheeses, and crispy bacon all wrapped up in a crunchy egg roll wrapper. Perfect for parties or as a tasty snack!

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled (about 1 cup)
  • 4 large jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Wrapping:

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • vegetable or canola oil, for frying
  • ranch dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Cheese Filling: In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Wrapping: Place ⅓ cup of the jalapeno mixture onto each egg roll wrapper. Roll tightly, sealing edges with water.
  3. Frying: Heat oil to 350°F. Fry egg rolls 2-3 at a time until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ranch dressing for dipping.

  • Air Fryer Egg Rolls: Preheat to 400°F, air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
