- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ cup salted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Skillet: Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to get it hot enough for searing.
- Sear the Steak Bites: Add the sirloin pieces to the skillet and season them evenly with salt and black pepper. Sear on all sides until they are nicely browned, about 2 minutes per batch. Avoid overcrowding by working in batches if necessary.
- Transfer to Slow Cooker: Once browned, move the steak bites into your slow cooker to prepare for slow cooking.
- Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, red chili flakes, and cornstarch until smooth and well combined.
