Simple Syrup:
- 1 3/4 cups + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Blackberry Puree:
- 2 cups blackberries
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Lemonade:
- 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 10-12 lemons)
- 8–10 cups water
- Ice
- Lemon slices and blackberries for garnish
Instructions
- Make Simple Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 3/4 cups sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat until sugar dissolves. Cool.
- Prepare Blackberry Puree: Blend blackberries with 2 tablespoons sugar. Strain through a sieve.
- Make Lemonade: Mix blackberry puree, simple syrup, lemon juice, and water in a pitcher. Stir well.
- Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and blackberries.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
