- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp chipotle chili powder
- 1 tsp honey
- 1–3 tbsp harissa sauce (or use hot sauce)
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 1/2 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-size chunks
- 1–2 cups Tzatziki sauce
- 1/2 cup garlic tahini (recipe in notes)
Feta Fries
- 4 russet potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch-thick matchsticks
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup mixed herbs – dill, basil, parsley
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, shallots, garlic, oregano, chili powder, honey, harissa sauce, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Add chicken, toss, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Skewer the chicken: Thread marinated chicken onto skewers and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Make the fries: Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, cayenne, and pepper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flip, and bake for 15 more minutes.
- Prepare the feta topping: Combine herbs, lemon zest, garlic, sesame seeds, and feta. Toss fries with the mixture and season with salt.
- Serve: Serve chicken skewers and fries with Tzatziki sauce and garlic tahini. Enjoy!
