  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Meat Mixture:

  • 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • Sauce of choice for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mushrooms: In a frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until caramelized. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Bacon: In the same pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside.
