For the Mushrooms:
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Meat Mixture:
- 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- Sauce of choice for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mushrooms: In a frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until caramelized. Set aside.
- Cook the Bacon: In the same pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- Prepare the Meat Bowls: Mix ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup of cheddar. Form 4 meat bowls on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Fill the Bowls: Add cheese to each bowl, top with sautéed mushrooms, and more cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions and your choice of sauce. Enjoy!
