Strawberry Syrup:

- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Macerated Strawberries:
- 1 cup (~150 g) strawberries, diced
- 1 tbsp sugar
To Assemble:
- Milk of choice
- Ice
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry syrup: In a pot, combine strawberries, sugar, honey, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until thick and syrup-like. Cool in the fridge.
- Prepare macerated strawberries: Toss diced strawberries with sugar until coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to draw out juices.
- Assemble: In a glass, add strawberry syrup, macerated strawberries, ice, and top with milk. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness of the drink by adding more or less strawberry syrup.
