Ingredients

Units Scale

Main Ingredients:

    • 16 oz cottage cheese
    • 3 oz feta cheese
    • 12 tbs red wine vinegar (or lemon juice)
    • 12 tbs olive oil
    • 12 tbs honey
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 3 tbs dill
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Milk (optional for thinning)

Garnish:

    • Toasted sesame seeds
    • Dill
    • Black pepper
    • Olive oil

Serve with:

  • Pita chips
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Cucumber

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the cottage cheese, feta cheese, red wine vinegar (or lemon juice), olive oil, honey, garlic, dill, and salt and pepper to a food processor. Pulse for a minute or two until the mixture becomes completely smooth.
  2. Adjust and Thin if Necessary: Taste the dip and adjust the vinegar and honey as needed to reach your desired flavor. If the dip is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of milk to thin it out slightly.
  3. Finish and Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with toasted sesame seeds, dill, black pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with pita chips, carrot sticks, celery, or cucumber slices.

Notes

  • If you prefer a stronger tangy flavor, increase the red wine vinegar or lemon juice.
  • For a sweeter flavor, adjust the honey as desired.
  • Milk is optional and can be added for a thinner consistency, depending on your preference.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate for up to two days for convenience during gatherings or parties.
  • The dip pairs equally well with crackers, breads, or roasted vegetables.
