Pasta:
- 16 ounce package penne pasta
Shrimp:
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails removed
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook Pasta: Cook penne according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Cook Shrimp: In an oven-safe skillet, cook garlic in butter and oil. Add shrimp and parsley, cook until pink. Remove shrimp.
- Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add flour, then gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, and cheeses.
- Combine Ingredients: Mix most of the shrimp and pasta into the sauce. Place remaining shrimp on top, sprinkle with mozzarella.
