Description

This rich and decadent caramel pecan fudge combines creamy white chocolate, crunchy roasted pecans, and luscious swirls of thick caramel for an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert. Ingredients

Units Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans

For Swirling

  • 1/2 cup thick caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Microwave the base: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. Stir, then heat for an additional 15 seconds. Continue this process until all the ingredients have melted and the mixture is smooth, stirring thoroughly between intervals.
  2. Add flavorings and pecans: Stir in the vanilla extract and the chopped pecans, making sure everything is well combined.
  3. Prepare the pan and add the mixture: Line a baking dish (an 8×8-inch works well) with parchment paper. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  4. Swirl in the caramel: Drizzle the thick caramel sauce in lines over the surface of the fudge. Use a knife to gently swirl the caramel into the fudge to create a marbled effect. Take care not to over-mix so that visible swirls of caramel remain.
  5. Chill and set: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 5 hours, or until the fudge is fully set and firm.
  6. Cut and store: Remove the fudge from the pan using the edges of the parchment paper. Slice into 1-inch squares and store in a sealed container. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, use a thick caramel sauce so it holds its shape in the fudge.
  • The fudge can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • If you prefer toasted pecans, lightly toast them in a skillet or in the oven before adding.
  • The fudge is rich—small squares are perfectly satisfying.
  • Swap pecans for walnuts or almonds for a different nutty flavor if desired.
