These Burger Bowls are a deconstructed take on a classic burger, with seasoned beef mince, crispy potato chips, fresh lettuce, dairy-free or regular cheese, pickles, and a flavorful burger sauce.

Spice Mix:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Bowls:
- 2–3 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 500 grams lean beef mince
- Lettuce, shredded
- Cheese, dairy-free or regular
- Pickle slices
For the Burger Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard, dijon or yellow
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice from the jar of pickles
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare Spice Mix: Combine all the spice mix ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Prepare Potatoes: Cut the potatoes into chips, pat them dry, toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix, then bake or air fry until crispy.
- Cook Beef: Brown the beef mince with the remaining spice mix in a pan until darkened and cooked through.
- Make Burger Sauce: Mix together all the burger sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Assemble Bowls: Divide the cooked potatoes among bowls, add lettuce, beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with burger sauce before serving.
