Salmon Patties
- 1 small salmon fillet, skin removed (about 5 ounces)
- 2/3 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare Salmon Mixture: Cut the salmon fillet into a few pieces and add all of the ingredients to a food processor. Process on high until everything is combined but with a few small pieces of salmon, onion, and chives remaining for texture.
- Shape Patties: Form the salmon mixture into 4 patties, each about 3 inches in diameter. Place them in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- Preheat Air Fryer and Prepare Basket: Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the patties in a single layer in the basket and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for a crispy finish.
- Air Fry Patties: Cook the patties at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes. Flip them halfway through if your air fryer requires it to ensure even cooking. Cook until they are cooked through with a crispy exterior.
